ABS introduced OSCA 2024 as Australia's current statistical occupation classification. Australian migration programs can continue to reference ANZSCO versions, so ANZSCO remains important for skilled migration research. ANZSCOCODE keeps that distinction visible instead of treating the two classifications as interchangeable.
The ANZSCO 2022 occupation reference dataset used on this site was checked against ABS occupation definitions. The current occupation description and skill-level dataset was verified on 23 September 2026. Migration-specific fields should be checked against the latest Home Affairs legislative instruments because they are maintained separately.
